Whatever the program you choose is, there are few rules to follow in order to have the best time with no misfortunes!

  • Go “all inclusive”: Find a package that covers accommodation, sightseeing tours, and transportation. Spare yourself the hassle and spend all your time just enjoying yourself.
  • Leave all your valuables and money in the safety box: Store your cell phone, passport, extra cash and credit cards to avoid having your belongings stolen or missing.
  • Follow the dress code: You can wear your shorts or swimming suits on board and during breakfast and lunch time. However, dress more smartly for dinner.
  • Listen to your tour guide’s instructions: ask your tour guide if you feel frustrated about anything or have any questions.
  • visit a bank to change your money before cruising: Most of the boats do not offer to exchange money
  • Use your phone when you have network: You can never be sure when you’ll have network. If you need using your phone to connect to internet or to call anyone, seize the chance when you have network connection

  • Avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol: hangovers are worse on a ship. You will spend two days with a bad headache and an angry stomach.
  • Do not spend too much time on deck if you have equilibrium problems.
  • Don’t lose your room key-card: It can be difficult keeping your cruise ship key card without worrying about losing it. The easiest solution is to pack a lanyard(that shoelace type thing you wear around your neck, usually to hold ID badges) and attach your key.
  • Never smoke in bed: This can cause fire.
  • Don’t forget your belongings in the safety box: Keeping your valuables there is safe, forgetting them there is not.
  • Don’t oversleep: If you over sleep, you gonna miss the breakfast. It is served early in the morning. Early birds catch the worm!
  • Never forget to buy medications for an angry stomach: If you get these mostly because of food or movement, keep medications that help with your stomachache.
  • Don’t forget to leave tips for the cruise staff: The amount of money is not fixed, you determine it according to how satisfied you are with the service.
