Travelling is such a frolic! However, packing can be quite a hassle. In the first part of the (How to Pack series), We focused on how to look like a 10000$ without carrying all your wardrobe. In this article, we offer you a list of everything you may need. Bring your marker cause you gonna do lots of checks!

Toiletries and Personal Care Products

Oral care: To avoid spending extra bucks in Egypt, bring your toothbrush and favorite oral care products (toothpaste, floss, mouth wash) with you.

Sunscreen: We mention this one every single time we say the word “packing.” Egypt is extremely sunny and hot. Go for ones that won’t leave your skin oily and shiny. But a little bit of moisturizing will harm no one. Extra tip, don’t go diving wearing sunscreen as it harms the coral reefs. Opt for Eco friendly ones: Read this article to decide which sunscreen is suitable for you and the ocean all together!

Razors: If you like shaving the old school way, bring your razors with you. However, you can always find Gillette razors in pharmacies in Egypt.

Hand Sanitizer and face wipes: Egypt is a sunny desert. Face wipes or baby wipes will help you stay fresh and clean. Hand santizers are essential to when you have no running water in handy or in a sand boarding trip!

Deodorant, spray, perfume: Gotta smell good! Gotta smell awesome.

Insect repellent: It’s not really bad when it comes to insects in Egypt. However, safe is always better than sorry!

Chap stick: SPF lip-balms are your best friend!

Skincare: If you have a face routine, bring your products. However, you can use eye-contact containers to minimize your packing, or get some of these tiny mini travel containers.

Tanning Oil: if you’re heading to The Red Sea, you must use a tanning oil to get this lushly bronzed skin look.

Egypt and Hair: you must care!

Hair products: If you have a hair routine, you should pack all of these products with you; they may not be very available in every local pharmacy in Egypt. To save some space, you can buy small containers and fill it with your favorite products. Don’t forget to identify each product! And curly hair ladies, pack extra moisturizing products, you gonna need this! Extra tip: Go for solid shampoo and conditioner bars as they’re lighter and last way longer. You can also use them to wash your clothes and face!

Combs and brushes: No need to justify why you need these, but we know you don’t like hair knots

The Extra Lady Mile:

Menstruation things: If you are a pad-girl, don’t worry you can always find your favorite brands in Egypt. However, tampons and menstrual cups are very rare and very expensive here. Pack some!

Chafing gel: Curvy gals, take notes. If you are going to wear skirts or dresses, get yourself an anti-chafe balm. Egypt is a hot place and things can get a lil bit messy! You can always pack alternatives if you are not a big fan of chafing gels

Makeup Bag!

Of course you wanna look your best! But to avoid over-packing,

Use the the mini travel containers: instead of carrying your foundation and primer.

Use blush as eye-shadow: ditch the pinkish tones and go more bronze or coral to compliment your tanned skin. You can use it as blusher, bronzer or eye-shadow.

Use your mascara as an eyeliner: You can always get a small eyeliner brush, put it in your mascara, and have the perfect eyeliner you want.

Buy a palette that contains bronzer and highlighter at the same time: less money and less space!
