First, Understand the Egyptian Weather

Egypt is a warm and sunny country. However, some places, like Upper Egypt, are warmer than others. Some cities, the ones on coasts and seas, have milder and colder weather.

November-March: If you love colder weathers, these are the best months to visit Egypt. The Weather is a little bit cold and still somehow sunny. It doesn’t rain often in Egypt. However, Alexandria and Mediterranean Sea cities tend to be cold with a chance of raining. These are the ideal months to visit Luxor and Aswan, or the cities on The Red Sea.

April – May / September – October: These are the best months to visit
Egypt in general, especially if you want to go everywhere and don’t want to choose between the North and the South. The weather is mild and nice, sometimes a little bit warm but nothing close to dog days! Visiting Egypt in these months can offer you the complete trip and complete activities: between water sports and sand boarding and camps in the desert.

June – August: If the heat won’t get you peeved, you can stay all day long on the sand, enjoying the amazing beaches of Egypt. It’s usually very hot in Luxor and Aswan. However, Mediterranean Sea cities and Red Sea cities will give you the perfect summer trip!

Dragging a huge suitcase around the streets of Egypt is not a pleasant thing, take it from an Egyptian. Therefore, packing smartly can offer you a fashionable yet a comfortable trip. We are going to give you some of our packing secrets to rock the streets in style!

Tops:

Neutral T shirts and tops: Blacks, off white, nudes, and whites are your “to go” items. They look absolutely stunning on anything, and with some styling no one will even notice that you’re wearing the same shirt you’ve worn the last night. Wear them with jeans for every day, maybe with a skirt or loose wide leg pants for a little bit of glamour too!

Long sleeve shirts: Egypt is a Middle-Eastern country; therefore, in some places you may need to cover up a bit. Bring one of your favorite long sleeves shirts in your suitcase. Long sleeve shirts are comfy, classy and gonna look great in pictures.

Dresses: A maxi dress or a summer dress will look absolutely cute. Never miss the iconic shot with a summer dress in front of Luxor’s beautiful temples. Don’t forget to pack a fancy dress for your parties and night outs!

Sweatshirts: No need to bring your coat, Egypt is a warm country. A sweatshirt will do and you can wear it over whatever you want.

Cardigans and Kimonos: These are really stylish in summer and fall. You can always put one on before entering a mosque. Egyptians really appreciate this.

Bottoms:

Skirts: Skirts will look amazing on anything. You can get a mid-knee skirt to rock in Cairo and Giza. However, your mini-skirt and side slit skirts will look amazing on your tanned skin, visiting Red Sea cities or Luxor and Aswan. Skirts will give you all the summer vibes you want and all the night glam you want.

Shorts: A pair of shorts is your best friend in your trip to Egypt. They are very comfy and practical. Whether you like to dress up or like to grab the thing closest to you, your shorts will absolutely do the job

Jeans: Bring your favorite pair of jeans, wide or slim. They work like magic and they have never failed us!

Wide pants: These work great for comfy and stylish outfits. However, with a nice top they would be absolutely chic.

Footwear:

All-purpose sneakers: It is a must!! It will save your feet, and your outfit many and many times. Get ones that you’ve already worn before to avoid sore feet.
